Hi,
my moms Thinkpad 380ED suddenly stopped working and it cannot be turned on
anymore. Even when it is plugged in all the lights are off (including the lights
of the power supply). Here is what I tried so far:
1. Pressing the reset knob on the bottom of the machine.
2. Using the power supply from my Thinkpad i1200.
3. Removing the battery.
However, I can't get it to work.
What might be causing this problem? Would it make sense to send the machine to
IBM Germany for repair or will that be too expensive?
