Thanks for all suggestions. We downloaded the hardware maintenace guide for the
380 series and looked in its Power System Checkout section. There, it was
recommended to check the backup battery. So, we took it out, checked its voltage
(that was ok), cleaned the contacts, and placed it back again. Now, the machine
suddenly works again.
