The ability to boot from a DOS floppy is not really a good reason to choose
FAT32. If you use NTFS, you can simply boot from your Win2K CD and select
the recovery console. Then you have full access to your hard drive, just as
if you'd booted a DOS floppy on a FAT32 system.

FAT32 is much less robust than NTFS. If you get a BSOD while writing to the
hard drive (or, on a desktop without a UPS, if you have a power failure),
then you stand a significant chance of losing a good part of your filesystem
with FAT32. With NTFS, this is extremely unlikely because of the crash
recovery features built into the filesystem.

If you want a reliable system, NTFS is really the way to go.
