Thanks, James, but I wonder if that is actually the issue here. I've
*always* had the A21p set to prompt for a password, both when it had Windows
2000 on it and now with XP. It never prompted me for the power-on password
when I rebooted before--it just seems to have started doing this out of the
blue. It is a bit of a puzzle.
