Well I decided to take the plunge on my "backup" laptop
(600X/P3-500/320mb/12gig) and so far it's great. ClearType is nice (not a
must-have tho) and the system seems to be working well. The setup was easy,
no problems whatsoever. I have a few small issues tho.
Before I get to the list, I have done a bare drive install, downloaded and
installed all the required XP/W2K drivers for on-screen display,
configuration utility, trackpoint, etc.
1) Can't Hibernate - it's set up right in Power Management, I checked,
everything looks right, but pressing Fn-F12 does nothing.
2) No Battery Gauge - I think I've got the right utility installed, but
there is no start menu program for the gauge. Did I miss something?
