OT: DSL -vs- Cable Connection

Hi Everyone,

I know this is off topic, but could not think of a better group of people to
ask.

I am considering getting a high-speed Internet connection
The two available services in my area are:

1. Bell South DSL.

2. ATT Broadband Cable Connection.

Which service would you all recommend? Which is the most reliable? Fastest?
