Thats strange, the link worked for me and there
are several other interesting things there.
One strange thing, after checking three CDs that I
was suspicious of, and finding them perfect, I
tried CDCHECK on a drive that I knew had problems.
After no increase in the file count after 1/2 hour while
hearing the heads periodically seeking I found out that
the spindle had stopped turning.
The program was stuck, still cycling at that point
and not reporting any errors,
I'm going to do more testing.
