Howdy,
Your battery is dying (had the same problem myself). If the TP is still
under warranty, you should be able to get a new battery. Otherwise, you can
probably buy a new TP600 battery off eBay for ~$100 (caveat emptor of
course) like I did instead of paying IBM $250 for a new one.
I believe IBM had a battery recall for some of the TP600 batteries, someone
on this list might know a little more about that.
