have you pulled the memory or ruled memory out as the problem..??
if not, do so..
how about booting into DOS..
(remember DOS..?)

sounds to me like it IS a W2k problem..
A21m is a pretty basic machine..

also try reloading W2k..

i MIGHT have an A21m recovery CD here..
