With all of the discussion about memory on the list, I thought I'd mention that

Based on some experiments I've performed over the past few days with memory for
my T21 and my wife's and daughter's new T22s, I'm fast coming to the conclusion
that _any_ 256MB PC100 memory listed at Crucial or Kingston for the T20/21/22
will also work in the 600E/X.
