Get TweakUI for your flavor of windows and it
will get you a leg up on your
problems/conditions. If you use the quick launch
on your tool bar, just right click on a blank area of your tool bar and choose
  "Toolbars" and reactivate it. MS sure can
screw up a good running machine, eh? Hee !!
