Just curious -
How feasible is it to separate the LCD from the base unit of a Thinkpad to
extend the distance between the two? Is it possible to fabricate an extended
ribbon to run the LCD? The running distance I have in mind isn't long, maybe
3 feet, but it's a huge increase from the stock 3 or 4 inches. I know the
official answer would be "No, it's not possible." but I have a project in
mind, and just want to hear some thoughts from everyone else on this list.
