So people are thinking that the T30 is not a good choice? I am back to
square one after returning my defective T23, and the higher graphic spec
on the T30 looked enticing although I don't like the touchpad either...
the software I run is very video card hungry (although its just form
filling software its written to run in a browser window and it uses a
lot of video capacity doing imaging and mapping functions)... where are
people thinking is the sweet spot between performance and price now on
the T line? I do want an XP pro machine, but am not set on a specific
processor... it seemed like my 30gb hard drive in the 1.13ghz T23 I had
was noisier and slower than the 20gb 30gn model I currently use... is
the 40gb drive faster in use or any different noise wise?

loving my T23. What happened to the 60 gig hard drives? They should have
done this to the R&A series instead of the T series, then they would be
competing with Dell on price as well. How come the P3 1.2 machines are

expensive than the P4 machines? ;)
