I've also had 100MHz memory (probably a 128Mb) in my 600 (PII/266)
with no ill effects.

The only caveat I can think of is that I've got a 66MHz in the
first slot and the 100MHz in the second slot, and I'm short 32Mb of
total memory; if I transpose the two pieces I come up short 64Mb
(or 64 and 96 respectively, I'm not sure exactly).
