Some WARNINGS !
U might want to try smthg. like this as an absolutely last resort
Try such a thing at U'r own risk.
Only one person I know, has tried this successfuly.
It's not portable.
It's not an easy task, be prepared to invest hours of trouble-shooting.
The alternate solution:
Buy a SelectaDock Base 1(port replicator) along with a SelectaDock III (docking station) , preferrably from the same seller.
Nowadays real cheap on ebay I got both for $25 with combined shipping.
The dock has 2 USB ports which can theoretically be used if U'r machine is 'above' Win 95
(with Win 98 etc.) The dock also gives U an inbuilt SCSI adapter.
Thanks ---- Hemant
P.S. Do not take this info as 'good advice' (I still haven't found the time to get my USB working) just retain it, in the back of U'r mind as a possibility.

Subject: 760EL/120MHz and USB Cardbus adapters?
Hi,
I have another question about that 760EL of my neighbour. He wants to attach
USB devices (a camera and maybe a CDRW drive). Since the computer doesn't
have a USB port, I thought that inserting a Cardbus USB adapter might solve
the problem. However, almost all the USB 1 cards that I found so far on the
internet are accompanied by a warning that says that you need a laptop with
at least 166MHz. My neighbours 760EL has only 120MHz but, since it supports
Cardbus, I haven't yet given up hope. Now, my questions:
Are there any Cardbus USB adapters that work with a 760EL/120MHz? What
specifications should I be aware of (eg. what Cardbus versions does the 760EL
support)?
Felix
