Just got a new A22m running W2k from employer and works great,
except...
I cannot get the microphone input to work in any application. Sound
recorder, NetMeeting, Embedding audio into Word -- None work.
My employer doesn't see this as big enough problem to try to get
fixed, so I'm on my own here.
Things I have done and checked.
Tried both built in and external mic's. Have tried using a powered
booster (Andrea) on external mic. None of these give *any* sound,
not even static.
I've checked Audio Properties and mic is not muted, and volume is
turned up to max. I've tried all combinations of checks in the
Microphone Advanced settings for Alternate Microphone and Microphone
Boost.
In control panel, under Sounds and Multimedia - Audio, Sound
Recording, I have the Crystal SoundFusion as the preferred device.
Is there anything else that I need to look for to get sound recording
going again?
