I did and I did, but it wasn't. Actually, I don't remember now exactly what
I did in what order, but I'm pretty sure it included all you suggest. I also
turned off the machine for a few days we were in one spot, and when I started
it next, the CD still wasn't recognized. However, I probably hibernated
rather than shutting down over the period. Maybe that makes a difference.
