Hello:
I've got a A22M (2628) that is out of warranty but
could use a new LCD. The A22 is fully functional, but
ended up in a junk pile because there a few small
"smudges" on the LCD. It looks like someone had put
something too heavy at one time on the closed A22 thus
damaging the screen. The screen isn't cracked or
scratched. I have already tried the press on the
glass trick, with little notable success.
IBM EZServe wants $900 to replace the LCD. Is anyone
aware of any other repair services that might be less
expensive?
