[TP570e] Battery problem (won't charge)

Has anyone experienced battery problems with the 570e (it won't charge)

I bought a battery with FRU#6639 and it wont charge. Sent the entire unit
and battery to IBM and there was nothing wrong with the unit so they
thought that the battery was dead. They ordered one themselves (same FRU#)
and it still would not charge but when another battery (different FRU#,
6674) was used the battery charged on my unit. I sourced my battery in the
US, while IBM (Philippines) got theirs from Asia.

Does anyone have an answer to this? Or has anyone else experienced this?
