I think upgrading aa 770ED to 366 would be well worth it. There were two MMC-1 P2 366 CPUS on ebay this week for $45.00, no bidders.

Wrong, they ended the auction early.
I'm looking for a MMC-1 PII "EP" ( internal cache) and
they have been running over $50.

Larger Cache is not always faster.
If I remember correctly, the 266mhz PII has a 512k cache outside the CPU
(running slower), while the 366mhz PII has a 256k cache inside the CPU
(running at a much faster speed).
It is suprising how much the price has dropped, this one didn't even sell a
week ago, no bids. Someone could have had it for $5.
