First, stop placing heavy objects on your thinkpad or stuffing it into a
tight carry bag loaded with books or papers..
then be sure that your trackpoint cap is pushed all the way onto the post..
don't force it, just be sure its not rubbing the front of the display..
then use a screen cleaner to clean the surface..
the surface can also be polished if there are scratches.. i don't know what
they use but this was done to an A20p once for a customer..
OH!!
also be sure that the keyboard is firmly in place..
the two or three screws on the bottom should be tight and the edges and
mouse buttons should be pressed in place..
all that said, never force anything.. :-)
