Hello,

I did some checking on the xTend micro website ( http//www.xtendmicro.com ).

The web site talks about E Series (60 watts continuous) and F Series
(72 Watts continuous). The output voltage on these series are programable,
set via the adapter cable. If the adapter is the E series and it uses the
F301 adapter cable then it should work with Thinkpad 240, 365, 280, 385,
390, 560, 570, 600, 701C/CS, 770. It appears you need the F Series (72
watt)
for the i, A, T, and X Series as well as the Transnote.

The pictures on the web site do not totally match the picture in the auction
so these may have different specifications to the E or F Series (or made for
IBM). If the auction items are 60 watts continuous there is a good chance
they will work with the 600 series. I doubt it will work with the A21m.

Subject: Car/plane adapter for IBM TP

I have no affiliation with this guy. I decided that if the adapter works
with the 365 and 560, as the auction item claims, (both use the same AC
adapter as my 600) then it should work with my 600 and even the 240 and
A21m.
Plugged into my Honda CRV outlet they register 16.24 V and seem to work
fine. I know Xtend used to make adapters with the IBM label - so? The last
time I looked at his "Store" there were over 1,000 available. Check it out.
