I use isopropyl alcohol for general cleaning, for tougher cleaning needs,
I'll revert to goo-gone for sticker removal, dish soap & water for stuff
like food debris or the like. I'll follow up these methods with another
cleaning with the alcohol. After the unit is clean, I'll use Black Magic to
spruce it up. The flat black rubberized coating becomes blacker. I've
gotten old machine to look like new by this method. Black Magic can be
found in your local auto parts store.

|Hello,
|
|I was wondering what solutions people were using to clean their
|ThinkPads (both the casing and the screen)?
|
|I seem to recall someone on the list mentioning isopropyl alcohol
|as the preferred choice for screen cleaning. Is that still the
|case?
|
