I can't tell if they're "real" IBM covers, but they are the nice, grippy
cat-tongue kind. They fit perfectly, so I'd assume they're the the real
thing; if not, close enough, I wouldn't be able to tell. (It also comes in
the same kind of little baggie that IBM uses for spare covers when you buy a
new Thinkpad).

And no, it comes in a standard white envelope. No special envelope for me.
=) I believe Mike also sells them directly, he's out in southern California
if you want to save on shipping costs. As far as ebay, 75 cents is not too
bad, considering some people really rip you off with shipping fees upwards
of $30 for standard ground service that costs $9.
