It is perfectly acceptable and welcome on this list. The ad was from a merchant - Tiger Direct, selling on half.com - anyone who questioned your motives just didn't look hard enough to see that, and anyone who questioned the price neglected the fact that it was from a major outlet, where the prices are often higher than auction prices.
