Hi all,
Thanks to all for the comments on the memory capacity for the 560. You all
confirmed my suspicions. I found a 64meg upgrade and bought it for
$29.00. When it arrives I will see if it works after all.
The 560 arrived and I was amazed. With the exception of a small bit of
glue on the top cover it looks new! Very clean and worked right out of the
box. It passed all of the tests in the BIOS setup and when I installed the
6 gig drive 98 Lite recognized everything and after a bit of driver
swapping and a flurry of restarts it settled down and worked a treat.
Everything that is except the sound. Haven't really played with it yet but
at present it makes no noise. Actually that ain't bad for $56 bucks, US.
Any wonderful tips on the sound thing would be appreciated. I am not sure
where to start.
