The other 760EL question is:
The four prong socket in back of the laptop is pretty flaky, the charger
plug needing all kinds of manipulation before I can get the charging LED to
illuminate. I've established that it *is* the socket in the 760EL, not the
plug on the charger.
What is the best way of replacing this item? Obtain a socket and get out
the soldering iron or replace the unit that the socket is a part of?
In either case, what would the part number be? (The only diagrams I have
access to don't really show what the socket is a part of...)
TIA,
Lee
