halTED and halTEK were once the same company..
mt. view store and s. clara (or sunnyvale?) store..
then they split the sheets..
the mt. view store was better..
the mike, the manager of the mt. view store took the test instruments part
of the business across the parking lot..
about 1985 or thereabouts..
there was also a computer salvage warehouse in palo alto on park avenue just
to the north of karl van kempens mercedes dealership..
doubt that he is still there, though i DID run into him (not karl) online
several years ago..
back to the subject, i find myself in possesion of a DELL ac supply that
uses the same cord..
its got to be more or less universal..
i'll bet theres a cord manufacturer out there with a dozen verieties of this
cord in their catalog..
