The key word here must be "may"!

I've never seen this symptom in a solid 18 months of using an A20p and A21p,
both with mini-PCI cards and wireless cards, and I almost always boot with
the wireless card in place. (I've used both Cisco and Lucent/ORiNOCO cards,
with both the manufacturers' drivers and Windows XP's own drivers.) I wonder
what they might be talking about--I've never seen anyone mention such a
problem here. There are a LOT of people with wireless cards and mini-PCI
cards in their machines.

Did the article mention any specific OSes involved? I've been using Windows
2000 and XP. Never a problem with boot time. XP boots up very fast!
