on some thinkpads, there is a key combination, when in easy setup, that
would allow ALL of that..
from changing the machine serial number to modifing some pretty critical
parameters..
ask walter jackson..
i put my name in, in place of the machine serial number and forgot to remove
it before i sold him my 770Z.. :-)
