I must be unusual - I much prefer the "old" smooth cap that came with
my TP750 to the "rough" one on my 600X. I've put the rough one on my
600X so that I don't use it when the trackball is plugged in :)
Fortunately I've got a spare (new) smooth one still from the 750, as I
didn't get any spare rough ones with the new machine.
