It's late.
I just checked in and found some neat INI modem stuff.
I think this is super dialogue, and of much worth to the archives.
The whole thread.
In a DSL world, we must not forget the boons of knowing good
basic modem language.
I only vqguely remember it. But there were two standards, one included Hayes
and Practical Periphals, and the other I think included 'Robotics.'
How Thinkpad modems fit into the 'standards' and the resultinig INIT specs,
I am unclear.
Regards,
Allan Ballard: TP760CD/TP760XL (both still strong, used daily and I
love them)
