I have just upgraded the memory on my TP600X to 575Mb from 320M. Now
whenever I insert my 3Com cardbus NIC (3CXFE575BT) it BSODs in NT4,
with "KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED".
The problem is definitely related to the _total_ memory, as everything
works with 320M (either stick used).
The odd thing is that under OpenBSD and Linux I have no problem with
the 575M/NIC combination either.
Anyone any ideas?
BTW, I don't think the memory is bad, as it all tests fine with PC
Doctor and Memtest-86 (the latest version).
BIOS is up-to-date (ITET55W), and I'm using all the latest IBM drivers
from the web site. The 3COM driver is also the latest one from their
web site. NT4 is at SP5, the service pack provided with the machine.
