Weird Clicking of hard drive on New A31

Hey guys,

I've been a long time lurker of this List...had a 770 for a while. Anyways
I just received a New A31 with 1.6Ghz P4, 256 RAM, 40 Gig HD - Model
2652D3U.

Is it normal for the hard drive to be making a clicking sound every few
minutes? It's not the normal whirring sound I usually hear from HDs...it
sounds more like fingernail tapping on plastic. I booted up the
system...setup WinXP...everything seems to be in working order....but this
clicking sound is bothering me. Is this normal? The HD in my old 770
wasn't this loud.

Anyways I would appreciate any input on this matter.
