Actually that's the highest clocked PII available. There was a Celeron
433 & Celeron 466 that existed in the MMC-2 packaging with a 66 Mhz bus
(They're rare mind you - I haven't seen these outside of full systems).
Technically any of the MMC-2 CPU's with 66Mhz FSB should work.
As other people on this list know, I've had success upgrading my 600E to a
600Mhz Celeron (100Mhz FSB MMC-2) BUT it's not a smooth road. At best you
have to do some keypresses to get around a BIOS error (complaining about
the 66Mhz onboard memory I believe) at worst it doesn't boot at all.
You should also be careful when making an upgrade that changes the heat
output significantly. As laptops tend to dump heat at a fixed rate
(obviously depending on the ambient temperature).
