Not quite that, but at some point in the past year or two, my 770ED stopped suspending/hibernating all together -- I suspect it's due to installed applications screwing with the system's DLLs and toasting functionality. Tres annoying to say the least. I'm not ready to go for a reimage and re-install as thee machine is otherwise set up just so....
