You're able to get 544MB to be recognized? What's the secret? I cannot get
higher than 228MB, the rear slot will recognize a 128MB SO-DIMM but the
forward one will only see's a 128MB stick as a 64MB, thus only 228 MB. I've
tried several sticks and brands on 2 different machines (600's) to no avail.
