I had tried many times to use the IR link without success some months
ago. People
on the list had tell that IR works only seldom on the TP760.
I have a flickering back light LCD (except if the laptop is "warm") for
more than one year and I guess it's due to connector problems.
Yesterday I put away the keyboard and the LCD to look around.
When I reassemble the stuff, error 163: clock error in the BIOS. Normal,
the BIOS has had a "hard" reset since BIOS battery (in the keyboard) was
disconnected.
But this hard reset has enabled the use of IrDa which now work fine but
slowly
(5kB/s).
Unfortunately the LCD still flickers !
