[600] Looking for a HDD / support for SMART

Hi all,

I'm looking for a replacement hard drive for a 600E. If anyone has an older
hard drive in good condition (between 6 ~ 8 gb), <= 12.5mm that they're
willing to let go of for a reasonable price, please email me privately.

I'm also wondering if anyone knows what kind of test(s) the BIOS diagnostics
run (specifically on the hard drive)? I bought this 600E used, in person,
and it seemed to operate okay but when I ran DFT on the drive the SMART
status reads "Bad" and the drive refuses to format -- tons of bad sectors.
I'm a little disappointed that the diagnostics didn't catch that *before* I
purchased the machine, but I guess that's really my fault. *puts head down
in shame*
