Thinkpad windows XP theme

I ve been trying to install the windows Xp theme for thinkpads at
http://www.pc.ibm.com/ww/thinkpad/community/download.html

However the install fails in several computers i teied (both thinkpads and
non thinkpads, claiming errors in a certain *.msi file, im using XP
Professional SP1. I was wondering if there is some way to extract the
thinkpad theme correct whatever may be wrong (paths etc...) and install it.
Any ideas ?
