Now you've done it! You wiped out the secret sound
files with FreeBSD! Just kidding.
Actually ME doesn't usually have any problems with
sound. I installed ME on my 600E from scratch on a
blank hard drive and it worked OK, XP also. Are you
using a normal retail copy of ME, not some sort of
restore disk? You also need to install the IBM
Configuration Utility for Windows.
BTW, I never used the DOS-mode PS2 utility. What's
that do anyway?
