Hi Guys,
I've got a problem that has me stumped. I just bought a new
(to me) 600E. When I insert a CDROM/DVD or FDD into the Ultrabay it doesn't
work right. It will 'light up" at boot or when a disk is inserted so they're
getting power but windows isn't recognizing them (no D drive in My computer
or Windows Explorer). I migrated my 15GB H/D from my old 600 to this
machine...is there some driver or something I'm missing??? Device manager
shows all is well. As a last resort...how does one get warranty service on
the TP, IBM's website shows it's under warranty until 05/03. Any help would
be appreciated!
