Probably the CMOS battery is dead. Cheapest way is ti replace the
keyboard/palmrest assembly. They are cheap on ebay, as little as $15.00
brand new, and take all of two minutes to replace.
The CMOS battery is inside the palmrest.
Just make sure to buy a NEW keyboard, complete with battery.
Tysonssurplus has them on ebay, as well as Great 4 U
Both sell them complete and brand new.
