That is NOT ENTIRELY TRUE..
unless restricted by the EULA one CAN sell the OS..
in the case of the T30, it can, i imagine, by sold be selling the sticker on
the bottom and delivering that along with the recovery CD set to the new
owner..
when mike bought his T30 it was tough to get them and he did not want to
wait, nor did i suggest that he wait, for a CTO unit without a HDD..
ALSO, FWIW, to those who dislike the touchpad, it can be easily removed by
replacing the keyboard bezel..
an added incentive is that a used can then use the 12.5mm 60gig HDD in the
T30..
and when they arrive, the 80gig or larger travelstar drives..
(however, not knowing the future of travelstar since the buyout of the IBM
storage systems HDD 'unit' this is somewhat speculative)
