[Thinkpad] Installing Win98se on A31p and R31

I'm going to install Win98se (retail CD) on a new A31p (2653R3U) and an R31
(2656L1U). I downloaded the 98se install instructions & device driver matrix
files from the IBM website, skimmed the readme files, and I'm confused as to
the exact list of files to install. If anyone has a comprehensive file list
and proper order for installation I'd appreciate the info... it would save me
a considerable amount of time.

Also, what is the difference between installing in ACPI mode vs installing
with the command line: "Setup C:\Win98\APMINST.INF" ?
