I did encounter *some* dropped frames, even at
160x120 resolution, using the IBM Enhanced Video
Adapter on the 770X running Win98SE, although far
fewer than at 320x240 ~30fps, which was the
minimum acceptable for my test. I can not
remember the name of the capture software that
came with the IBM adapter, but I did find a
difference in dropped frames between it and
Premiere. (Premiere seemed somewhat better,
although I didn't test enough to determine whether
it was just fortuitous default settings.)
