I HAVE upgraded 233MMX machines to PII in the past, it IS doable, probably
works on the 770

was prolly replaced or something, and the chip, and all thats

Seems kind of unlikely that a TX type mainboard for a P233MMX (NOT
PII-233)
can support a PII processor. You may have seen a PII-233 upgraded
to a PII-300 maybe? Or did they even offer the 770 in a PII-233
configuration. I've only seen the straight 233MMX models... but
there could be one out there... somewhere.
