Maybe some idea. I can tell you that a PII-366 mmc-1 will
not boot in either of the early-model 770s I have at home.
If you search the archives you will also find some
references to the changed chipset being the reason for
this. I've heard, but cannot personally verify, that a
PII-366 and 400 mmc-1 do work in ED and Z models.
