you have a real antique there..
what anyone so inclined to help you would need to know is
what faster cpu's that motherboard would take..
so YOU should go to the ibm web site, support page and
insert your machint model/type number and look for the
hardware maintenance manual for your machine IF they posted
it..
otherwise i would look for a hand-me-down motherboard with
cpu.. something like a P-II or P-III that is or has been
replaced by a faster and more up to date MB and cpu..
