I didn't actually try getting an RMA since I have none
of the requirements in the official Warranty Claim
Procedures which precludes anyone getting warranty
service who didn't buy the memory retail.
Are you saying that's all a lie and can just be
ignored?
What did you use for a System Mfg. name and model?
Just make up one?
Warranty Claim Procedures and Requirements
To obtain warranty service, you may return a defective
product, freight prepaid and insured, to the
authorized Kingston dealer or distributor from which
you purchased the Kingston product. You must include
product identification information, including model
number and serial number (if applicable) with a
detailed description of the problem you are
experiencing. You must also include proof of the date
of original retail purchase as evidence that the
product is within the applicable warranty period.
Why would you need a receipt to prove that the product is within the
applicable warranty period when the Kingston memory comes with a lifetime
warranty?
I think this applies only to other products that only have a warranty of
limited duration. Like flash memory or networking hubs etc.
